Consumers residing in California have certain rights with respect to their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act or (“CCPA”) (California Civil Code Section 1798.100 et seq.) and the “Shine the Light” Law (California Civil Code Section 1798.83). Additional Disclosures Related to the Collection, Use, Disclosure and Sale of Personal Information

 

Collection and Use of Personal Information: In the preceding 12 months, we have collected personal information that relates to account subscribers of our media customers who elect to use our downloading services although we have no way of identifying any Personal Information to an individual customer. We collect a unique user ID that identifies a customer as a paying customer, the ID # of the videos that unique user ID downloads and the number of videos downloaded by each unique user ID. We collect this personal information to provide the downloading services described elsewhere in this website.  

 

Disclosure of Personal Information: The information our technology provides back to our media customers, which includes Personal Information above, may be shared with third parties by our media customers, as described the policies and notices provided to account subscribers of those media companies. In the preceding 12 months, we have disclosed the following categories of personal information to our media customers for business or commercial purposes: number of subscribers using our service, viewing history, advertising viewership and click through information on advertisements our media customers insert into downloaded content.

 

Sale of Personal Information: Penthera itself does not, and will not, sell the personal information of California residents collected under this policy. Penthera itself has not sold personal information of California consumers for a business or commercial purpose in the last 12 months.  

 

Your Consumer Rights

 

If you are a California resident, you have the right to (1) request more information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, sold and disclosed for a business purpose in the last 12 months, (2) request deletion of your personal information, (3) opt out of the sale of your personal information, if applicable, and (4) be free from discrimination for exercising your rights under the CCPA. If you are an account subscriber of one of our customers, you may make these requests by calling the media company that offers your downloading services or by contacting us as set out elsewhere on this website.
